PEOPLE HAVE SEEN THIS BANNER! |
caiyun with victor and gary..
oh seems like there's something scandalous going on!!! =X haha!!!
okie okie i made it up. but who knows, it may be true..? heh heh!
we went to the new Zheng Fa live seafood steamboat buffet restaurant for... steamboat buffet la.
its $18.90 nett per person, and haha no more grilling of food yourself! they will help u to grill or teppanyaki the food. not bad leh!!! =) its aircon, no more sweat, no more char siew smell when u get home!
and the boss there is super nice! cuz we dunno how to count heads, we were saying that its either 10 or 11 ppl.. then uncle just say '9 people, settle'. WOW~!
and you know for some buffet restaurants, once u step into the place, u must pay right... this boss is very nice!! he let jeremy and bernice to come in and sit with us as we were already almost done... sweet ar!
not cheap leh... the chicken pie is $2.50, the curry puff is $2. they have small muffins too, chocolate at $2. rather pricely for a shop with very makeshift tables... BUT the pies are yummy and fragnant, i dont mind forking out the $2.50 =)
and at city hall, had shoduko with sk!!
shoduko the japanese food bazzar~!
the chef cooking our stir fried pork with ginger sauce... got fire!!!
and the pork is cooked~! hmm i personally dont like this dish. cuz the pork is those 5 flower meat.. those with huge layers of lard in between... furthermore, i find that the meat is v hard to tear apart, perhaps because that part of the piggy is just like that.japanese satay- prawns wrapped in bacon, and grilled. $2.50++.
i fell in love with bacon-wrapped prawns after trying it out at Melvin's Tapas Wine... haha but this one ar, is much much different. the bacon were dried already, there's no more juiciness... the prawns are fresh and succulent though. BUT i prefer melvin's! =) haha but his is far more ex lo =X
japanese style rosti~! $6.90++
instead of sour cream and onions, this one has japanese curry. ehhhhhhhhhhh. i will prefer sour cream, cuz the rosti is very ni, and the curry is super ni. haha but sk and i thought that the rosti is nicer than the one at marche =) more crispy! BUT i feel that the potatoes tasted a lil raw...
macha freeze! $2.90++
haha fell in love with macha after trying it out at o cha cha. shoduko's is much much much more different than o cha cha and tcc. it is bitter, but the green tea is much more fragnant. not sweet, and thats good. if only it isnt that bitter...
waffles with honey and butter, $2.80++
eh i like the waffles type.. its those gelare type with bigger and thicker slots... but the waffles taste too similar to the one i made at home with the pancake mix.... so yupps.. okie la not bad. =) if you are looking for crispy waffles, nono not this one. this one tastes like kueh...
it seems like all the stuff we ordered are cheap... but the bill came up to $26... haha hmm okie ba, PERHAPS will go back again tot ry out other food! heard that one of their cheapest stuff there, the bamboo rice, is nice. =)
haha cuz the portion is really huge!
he had 'hai lu kong', AKA 'sea land air', otherwise fish cum pork cum chix on a hotplate. $17.50++, including soup and drink.
horace, chunsheng, boonyew =)
sk, meanother shocked look!
