Saturday, September 13, 2008 went to this place in Sunshine Plaza to eat Hong Kong dim sum... its called Victor's Kitchen!
Apparently this place is quite well known, it has many newspaper cuttings, many tv reports...
but the place is super unglam!! =( the tables are placed outside the stalls, and the tables are really smalllllll.... mummy felt uncomfortable cuz there wasnt much space...
porky porridge, $3.50. kinda regret ordering this, i shd have order lotus rice!!
ehhh what do you call this.. stewed chicken legs? $3+.. it looks unglam and in fact quite disgusting from the picture, but its quite yummy =)daddy was saying that outside other places ar, they only put a lot of red red ketchup... but this one is just nice...
prawn chee chong fun, $3.50.
juicy, succulent prawns!! those that got put into whatever water de to make the shrimp v crunchy de, i heard. not v good, but definitely yummy~!!
okie here's another disgusting picture, it looks like raw chicken ar... i took a super small piece of it.. think its drunken chicken? $3+
ohhh the reccommended dish from the Channel 8 foodie show, the 'super snacks stop'... Carrot cake with XO sauce.. $3.50
hmmm not bad ba haha..
fried wanton that doesnt look like wanton... $2.50. quite ex, 3 pieces only...
so yupps the bill came up to $21.30 for 3 peeps... considering the place, the utensils, the env, i would say that it is rather pricey...
but my dad feel that its v hard to get decent Hong Kong dim sum at relatively cheap prices.. and now outside dim sum are really crappy...
so perhaps we will go back there again! i saw someone eating crystal har gao and it looked good! =D
